A professional trumpet player since the late 1990s, Sebastien Jean spent more than 17 years performing with Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity, where he developed a dynamic, expressive sound that became a central voice in one of the company’s most iconic productions. His musical foundation draws from funk, jazz, New Orleans second line, Dixieland, and reggae, bringing energy, groove, and authenticity to every performance.

Over a decade ago, Sebastien expanded into DJing, blending live trumpet with curated sets to create a distinctive hybrid experience. From behind the decks, he explores electro swing, nu-disco, Afrobeat, and harmonic house, combining rhythm-driven beats with spontaneous live improvisation.

Performing as both a DJ and trumpet soloist, Sebastien Jean delivers immersive sets where live instrumentation and electronic music connect effortlessly.
